Main Areas of Responsibility
- Maintain an effective certificate of analysis system for customers that minimises the need for customers to contact Beatson Clark for a certificate of Analysis.
- Provide administrative support for sustainability initiatives, including maintaining sustainability records, collating environmental performance data, coordinating documentation for audits or reporting, and supporting the delivery of sustainability‑related projects and communications.
- Maintain the spreadsheet for the log of quarantine stock providing accurate and up to date information for trending and analysis of trends.
- Compile all relevant information for the “Jobs On” meeting. Ensuring that the QC Manager has all information to present to the meeting.
- Maintain the Kelros customer concerns information system. Logging of customer concerns and providing a weekly summary report to all relevant departments and management of Beatson Clark.
- Deal with all relevant customer information requests.
- Issue visit notifications and identify requirements such as catering and resources required for quality related customer or third party visits.
- Support the department functions with any relevant administrative requirements.
- Ensure Orders are placed on behalf of the department that ensure timely receipt of the goods ordered.
- Maintain a budget expenses file detailing each order placed and the cost centre charge to.
- Compile the monthly report on behalf of the department ensuring it is available for distribution on the Friday following month end.
- Provide quality updates including briefings, communications and training.
- Undertake project work that is consistent with the role including Audits.

Person Specification
- Extensive working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite preferred.
- Ability to organise and structure reports in a manner that is easily retrieved for review.
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the business internally and externally.
- Ability to work effectively within a small team but with the wider teams of manufacturing, hot end, cold end, engineering and warehouse.
- Pro-active with good organisational ability, able to work systematically.
- Able to react to customer requirements and take charge of a situation.
- Good communicator with presentation skills, able to advise and influence others.
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above
- NVQ Level II customer services preferred.
- Experience with web-based specification portal systems preferred.
