Shift Pattern:
Days (Monday-Friday)
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Operation of XYZ milling machine
- Interpreting technical drawings
- Measuring finished pieces to meet exact size rules
- To provide a service to production in respect of:
- - Repairing
- - Polishing
- - Measuring
- - Modification of mould equipment where necessary
- Report any issues found whilst reviewing equipment
- Ability to locate all mould equipment from the storage area
- Blasting mould equipment
- Follow job specifications on job cards accurately
- Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set
Person Specification
- Toolroom experience
- Experience in manual milling
- Experience in mould repair/bench fitting
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience of XYZ (desirable)
- Experience in gas welding/milling/polishing preferred but not essential
- Toolroom Apprenticeship trained preferred
- Believes in and promote Health and Safety within workplace
