The manufacture of glass packaging is a highly skilled and specific process, and we appreciate that it is important for our customers to understand the technical and quality procedures and the best way in which they can handle the product on their filling lines.
We therefore offer tailored appreciation days to all of our customers, where they can take a full tour of our facilities and see the production first-hand.
Our customers are walked through the entire process, from reception of raw materials, through melting, forming, inspection, packaging and warehousing. Each step is explained to give a better understanding of the technical aspects of glassmaking, and the procedures we have in place to provide our customers with a quality product.
At Beatson Clark we are committed to ensuring that all new products run as smoothly as possible from manufacture, until they are on the supermarket shelves. In addition to the engineering support and glass handling training we offer, customers also have the option of additional technical support for any new products, via an onsite visit by one of our highly experienced team. They will familiarise themselves with the filling line, and look at any ways in which we can offer advice to further improve the handling of the product.
We have also developed the process flow to the right of this page as an additional tool to help understand the process, step by step. We hope you find this useful.
