Health Benefits

Glass is Inert

Glass will not contaminate the product, and however acidic, the product will not contaminate the glass.  Glass preserves the taste of the product within.

Glass is Safe

Glass does not contain chemicals such as Bisphenol A or Phthalates which are found in several plastic materials.  These chemicals are banned in parts of the world for their potential effects on pregnant women and newborn babies.

It is the only single layer packaging that does not require additional layers to protect your food and drink.

Glass is the only packaging material exempt from REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) registration in Europe and the only packaging material to achieve GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) classification from the American Food & Drug Administration, both of which endorse it as safe for direct contact with food & pharmaceutical products.

Amber glass will also protect products from Ultra Violet light.

Glass is Strong

It can be pasteurised, sterilised or microwaved without losing product integrity or leaching toxic or carcinogenic chemicals.

Glass has a longer shelf life

High levels of vacuum and carbonisation can be maintained over a long period of time, unaffected by temperature or light and in most applications it is highly resealable.
