Beatson Clark will be exhibiting at the Food and Drink Expo on stand S199 at the NEC, Birmingham between 21 and 24 March 2010. It is one of the largest trade exhibitions in the food and drink calendar and will provide the perfect opportunity for Beatson Clark to showcase its products and services.
 
Marketing manager Dawn Pugh said, “Food and Drink Expo is an excellent stage for Beatson Clark to demonstrate our expertise in providing glass packaging solutions for the food and drink industry.”
 
In a fast moving industry, manufacturing flexibility and new product development has set Beatson Clark apart. To maintain its unique position, the company has continued to invest in new machinery and manufacturing processes such as lightweighting.
 
Beatson Clark’s flexibility allows the company to service smaller volume, premium product ranges and niche markets, while a £2m investment in an additional production line enables Beatson Clark to supply an extra 75 million units of clear glass containers, further extending the company’s capability to produce glass packaging in virtually any shape and size.
 
“Beatson Clark is in a unique position within the UK glass packaging industry because we can target these smaller volume, premium product ranges and offer customers the manufacturing flexibility they require,” continued Dawn, “in particular we have created really cost effective bespoke containers from standard designs , just by adding embossing to the finished moulds.
 
Beatson Clark also offers a free design service to assist with the development of packaging for new product ranges. This approach has proved particularly successful for customers such as Premier Group for products like the Oxo concentrated stock, which is packaged in customised glass containers from Beatson Clark.
